with the message “Taking Up the Way of Christ,” based on Matthew 16:21-28.

Jesus reminds us that following him involves more than believing his promises.
Discipleship also calls us to sacrifice, surrender, and self-giving love.
What does it mean to take up the way of Christ in the choices we make each day?

Please note that on August 30, Pleasant Hill will have one combined worship service
at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center.
