Join us this Sunday as we continue our summer sermon series, "Living the Example of Christ," with a message entitled “Compassion That Moves” based on Matthew 9:35-10:8.
When Jesus looked upon the crowds, he did not see statistics, problems, or interruptions. He saw people. He saw those who were weary, burdened, and searching for hope. Moved by compassion, he reached out to heal, teach, and restore. Then he called his disciples and sent them to continue that same ministry.
In a world that often encourages us to seek status, recognition, and privilege, Jesus offers a different example. He reminds us that being chosen by God is not about receiving special treatment but about accepting a calling to serve others. Compassion is never passive. It moves us toward people in need and invites us to become the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
Come discover how Christ’s example challenges us to see others through the eyes of compassion and to live out our faith through acts of mercy, kindness, and service.
