The King on the Cross
November 23 Worship

This Sunday we conclude our Discipleship Lessons from Luke series with a powerful reminder that Christ’s Kingship is revealed not through earthly triumphs but through self-giving love.

In Luke 23:33–43, Jesus reigns from the cross as He offers forgiveness, bears suffering for others, and extends grace to a repentant thief. His throne is lifted not by power but by sacrifice.

As we stand at the foot of the cross, we are invited to see what true authority looks like and to follow the Servant King whose reign transforms hearts. Christ calls us to live under His Lordship by choosing mercy, humility, and daily surrender. When His character shapes our decisions and actions, the reign of God becomes visible in the world through disciples who reflect His love.

Join us for worship on Sunday, November 23, at either 8:45 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. as we hear this message and celebrate Christ the King.
