A DISCIPLE’S PATH
Begins February 2nd at 9:50am
in the Fellowship Hall
Prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness…this is what we commit to when we become members of the United Methodist Church, and it is a big step.  A Disciple’s Path helps us look beyond membership, presenting an engaging approach to discipleship from a distinctly Wesleyan perspective.  Discipleship is ongoing, so this
6-week study is perfect for new members and small groups. It helps you develop spiritual practice, discover your unique gifts and engage in ministry that brings transformation to your own life and to the lives of others in the world.  Join us on February 2nd to begin the journey.  Speak with Pastor Joel McMakin or Diane Jordan if you have any questions.
I GIVE UP
But I don’t want to surrender!
Have you ever felt those words bubbling up so deep inside you want to shout?  It’s normal.  It’s natural.  It’s human to want to be in control.  But when our need for peace surpasses our desire for control, God, who truly uses all things for our good, demonstrates how much we can trust him.
You are invited to join this Book/Bible discussion group that will meet beginning Wednesday, February 12th at 6:30pm.  Judy Faulkner and Becca Kulkofsky will be facilitating this group and welcome others to discover the peace and joy that can be found in living a surrendered life.   Contact the church office for details!
