That’s right, LADIES, it's YOUR turn! We are calling women of ALL ages in our church fellowship to rise up together to form a Women’s Choir for this year’s Father’s Day service. Very little commitment is required. No previous singing experience or talent is needed - just a heart willing to honor the men of PHUMC! On Sunday, June 21 we will pack the choir loft full of women during the 11:00am service and sing two (2) very simple songs out of the hymnal - one (1) as the congregational opening song with the congregation and the other as a short choir anthem. We will exit the choir loft immediately after the anthem to allow families to sit together through the remainder of the service. We will NOT wear robes and no special attire is required. The only requirement is that those women wanting to participate: 1) attend the warm-up / rehearsal on the morning of at 10:45am in the choir room; and 2) attend at least one (1) of the two (2) regular choir rehearsals on Wednesday, June 10 and / or Wednesday, June 17 from 6:30pm-7:00pm. You are welcome to leave after the Father’s Day Women’s Choir portion of rehearsal or stay for the full rehearsal to enjoy the fellowship of other choir members. We need YOU!
