Palm Sunday, March 29, 8:45 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. March 29 is Palm Sunday, marking the start of Holy Week. Each service will include a remembrance of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
Maundy Thursday Service, April 2, 7:00 p.m. Through poignant scripture passages and meaningful music, this narrative-style service will retell the events in the Upper Room and the journey to the Garden of Gethsemane. Our service will include Holy Communion, open to all, a moment of foot washing by Pastor Pete for those willing to participate (optional), the traditional stripping of the chancel, and an opportunity to nail our burdens to the cross of Christ (also optional). Good Friday Tenebrae Service, April 3, 7:00 p.m. Join us in the Family Life Center with chairs arranged in concentric circles around the crucifix as we gather to witness Christ's suffering and death. Gospel readings from John, the extinguishing of candles, the solemn sound of a gong, and reflective music will help us appreciate the depth of Christ's sacrifice and love. Resurrection Sunday begins with a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. on the front lawn, proclaiming the joyful news from the empty tomb.
