This summer, Pleasant Hill is stepping back in time as we journey to ancient Rome for Vacation Bible School. From July 12 through July 16, children and adults will gather each evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for an immersive experience filled with faith, fun, and discovery.

Each night will bring the sights and sounds of Rome to life. Children will explore bustling marketplaces, encounter early Christians, and learn how God’s presence and purpose were at work in a world very different from our own, yet not so different after all. Through storytelling, music, hands-on activities, and shared experiences, we will discover how faith grows even in uncertain times.

This will be more than just a week for children. It will be a churchwide experience.

Watch for ways to be involved, from construction workshops beginning after Easter, to costume design, to serving as a shopkeeper in ancient Rome. There is a role for everyone, and every gift matters as we create this experience together.

There is a place for you in Rome.
