The Missions Committee of PHUMC will again be participating in Samaritan Purse’s Operation Christmas Child this year. Shoeboxes have been assembled and are available inside the Fellowship Building and the Family Life Center. Please take one or more to fill and bless a child this Christmas! They need to be back to PHUMC by Thursday, November 12th so we can get them to the OCC center on time.
If you’d like to contribute, but not fill a box, please shop for some items in bulk that can go into the boxes. At this time we have plenty of pencils, crayons, and markers, but could use some coloring books, some socks (all sizes), hats/gloves, jump ropes, “wow” items such as a ball and pump, small dolls, etc. Monetary donations for these items are also welcome and our committee can do the shopping. Thank you!
